From what time can I check in?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, we'll be happy to discuss your options. You're always welcome to enjoy a snack and a drink at De Salon or on the covered terrace.
Until what time can I check in?
Our reception team is available 24/7. If you arrive after 11:00 PM, please contact reception at 073 - 658 0400.
I would like to stay in my room longer, is that possible?
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out can be requested until 1:00 PM. A fee of €20 per room applies. Late check-out is subject to availability.
Is it possible to store my luggage?
There is a cloakroom near reception where you can store your luggage. This area is not secure; we recommend leaving your luggage in your car.
How can I pay at Landgoed Huize Bergen?
At Landgoed Huize Bergen, we no longer accept cash payments. We request that you pay your bill with a debit card. We accept Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, and American Express cards.
What types of rooms are available at Het Landgoed?
Located on the estate, you'll find four hotels: Het Koetshuis, De Botanica, and De Zwaluw. These hotels offer a variety of room types, each with its own unique atmosphere and historical story. This allows our guests to experience the rich history of our location.
Our Deluxe and Junior Suites are located in the De Botanica hotel accommodation.
In the hotel accommodation Het Koetshuis you will find our Comfort Rooms and the Bridal Suite.
Our single and double rooms are located in the hotel accommodations De Zwaluw.
Where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served at Het Landhuis. You are welcome here weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and weekends (Sat-Sun) from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Can I rent a bicycle?
Yes, it's possible to rent a (electric) bicycle. We recommend reserving your bicycle(s) before arrival at our reception by email: receptie@huizebergen.nl or by phone: 073 - 658 0400.
Can you arrange something special for a birthday or anniversary?
Yes, first of all, congratulations! There are several ways to make your stay even more special. Please contact our reception by email at receptie@huizebergen.nl.
Can I bring my pet?
You are not allowed to bring your pet.
How do I get to Het Landhuis?
We're easily accessible by car, public transport, and bicycle. View the options here.
Can I park at Het Landhuis?
Free parking is possible on site.
Are there charging facilities for electric cars?
Yes, charging facilities are available at our location. We have eight chargers available in the parking lot near Het Landhuis. Charging your vehicle is at your own expense.
Can I reserve a table at The Restaurant?
Reserve a tableYes, you can reserve a table at Het Restaurant. We recommend calling 073-658 0400. Reservations can also be made by email at receptie@huizebergen.nl.
Can I reserve a table at The Terrace?
It is not possible to reserve a table on The Terrace, this is based on availability.
Can we dine with a large group?
You are welcome to dine with a large group at Landgoed Huize Bergen. If your party consists of more than eight people, please send an email to receptie@huizebergen.nl.
What are the opening hours of The Restaurant?
You can enjoy a variety of lunch dishes from our menu at your table between 12:00 and 15:00. From 18:00, you are welcome to join us for a delicious dinner. For dinner, we serve exclusively our seasonal 3-, 4-, or 5-course Experience menu.
We will, of course, accommodate any dietary requirements and allergies. Please let us know when making your reservation.

Lunch | Monday to Sunday: 12:00 to 15:00.
Dinner | Monday to Saturday: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Opening hours The Bar in De Salon
Sunday to Thursday: until 11:00 PM.
Friday and Saturday: until midnight.
What can I order from the lunch, drinks and dinner menus?
At Landgoed Huize Bergen, you can enjoy an à la carte lunch. For dinner, we serve exclusively a seasonal 3-, 4-, or 5-course Experience menu. We are, of course, mindful of any dietary requirements and allergies. Please mention these when making your reservation. We also serve delicious pairing wines and/or cocktails. Also, ask about our bites menu for a cozy drink in De Salon.
Is the terrace covered?
Yes, the terrace is partially covered. In good weather, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful estate, the historic trees, and a pond. Cheers!
house rules
General rules
- All instructions from hotel staff relating to house rules must be followed.
- Valid identification must be presented upon check-in. Guests must be 18 years or older to check in. Both guests must be 18 years or older.
- Cameras are installed in various locations within the building. Everyone in our hotel consents to the recording of these cameras. These recordings may only be shown to third parties as supporting documentation in the event of emergencies and/or incidents.
- Found items must be handed in at the reception.
- Landgoed Huize Bergen is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
- Verbal and/or physical violence will not be tolerated. Unwanted harassment, racism, discrimination, and aggression towards hotel staff and visitors will not be tolerated. Anyone who behaves in a disruptive or offensive manner, either inside or outside the hospitality establishment, will be denied entry. In the event of threats, assault, or other forms of aggression, a report will always be filed.
- Toilet use; for hotel and restaurant guests. Intended for individual use. Staying for other reasons is not permitted.
Fire and emergencies: In case of fire, remain calm. Report the fire to reception and/or activate the nearest fire alarm.
In the event of a general fire alarm, leave the building immediately (slow woop). Follow the instructions of the hotel staff. Emergency exits are only used in emergencies and not as regular entrances and exits. Do not use the elevators under any circumstances in the event of a fire.
Parking: We have a large parking lot where you can park your car for free. We also have a smaller parking lot elsewhere on the estate. We have four electric charging stations. Reservations are not required.
Smoking and Fire: All rooms and public areas throughout the hotel are non-smoking. If we discover smoking in a hotel room, we will charge a €150.00 cleaning fee. The use of candles and lighting incense in the hotel room is prohibited due to the fire alarm and fire hazard. The security system will be activated immediately.
Alcohol, (soft) drugs, and weapons: Alcohol is only served to persons 18 years and older (we may ask for identification). We reserve the right to stop serving alcohol if we deem it unsafe. The consumption, use, sale, or possession of narcotics is prohibited. Soft and hard drugs, nitrous oxide, and other narcotics are prohibited. Weapons are prohibited on the estate.
Noise pollution: Causing a nuisance to others, such as loud music, rude behavior, or noise of any kind, is prohibited. Quiet hours are required between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Our staff may address you regarding this.
VandalismThe causing of damage and theft of the room and/or hotel inventory will be charged to the perpetrator or the person personally liable.
Internet: You can use free Wi-Fi in our hotel. Visiting websites prohibited by law is prohibited.
Prostitution and sharing a room with more than the number of people booked are prohibited in our hotel. Unregistered or other hotel guests are not permitted in your room. If other guests are found in your room, you will be asked to leave immediately.
Privacy: We respect your privacy in most circumstances, but we are authorized to enter your room in case of emergency or non-compliance with our house rules. If necessary (in case of aggression or misconduct), we reserve the right to vacate your room and remove you from the hotel.
Failure to comply with the above house rules, or damage to, or loss of, any property belonging to Landgoed Huize Bergen will not result in a warning. Instead, you will be immediately removed, held liable, and/or reported to the police. This also means no refunds will be given.
Employee Privacy
As a guest, you must also respect the privacy of our staff; no images, audio recordings, or names may be captured or distributed to third parties.
