The next morning, a lavish estate breakfast awaits you in the historic manor house (a one-minute walk from your hotel room). Did you know that your stay with us means more than just enjoying peace and quiet and nature? A portion of the estate's proceeds goes directly to the Joannes Bosco Foundation. This way, you contribute to valuable projects for young people under 25 in Brabant, from talent development to social initiatives. This social commitment goes back to the very beginning of Huize Bergen. Charlotte van Beuningen, the original resident, and her husband Willem van Beuningen were committed to a more just society as early as the early 20th century. Their ideals still form the foundation for the goals we support today.
